Genna’s PCL Reconstruction and Meniscus Repair Patient Story
This girl is one hard worker! Genna came to CAO after tearing her PCL and meniscus in a soccer injury and underwent PCL reconstruction and meniscus repair. Genna was one of our hardest workers ever and came to each session ready to work and with the best positive attitude throughout the long rehab journey. Restoring hamstring strength with PCL rehab proved to be a challenge but she consistently did her exercises at home which is of the utmost importance in order to return to sport. Genna worked her way through an extensive PCL rehab and gradually returned to playing soccer. She worked on building up her confidence to be able to return to playing soccer at Patuxent this past fall and looks forward to returning to playing on her travel team as well. Way to go Genna!
