Tori’s Brostrom Repair for Ankle Instability Patient Story
Tori came to us following ankle surgery performed by our own Dr. Turner. She is a multisport athlete and was having difficulty with her ankle stability and pain for some time before deciding on surgery. When she first came to CAO Physical Therapy and Sport Performance, she was unable to bear weight on her leg and had significant limitations in her ankle mobility. Working through PT from the start she progressed to walking in a boot, walking with a brace, and eventually to walking without any support. She then progressed to the next level of rehab with running and return to sport activities. After a long 9 months of hard work and dedication Tori was able to return to her school season of soccer! Way to go #5!
