Melinda Bimalleolar Fracture Patient Story
Melinda fell from a ladder in September and suffered a bimalleolar fracture of her R ankle. She underwent surgery by Dr. Turner for an internal fixation of the fracture in October and presented to out Wildewood Physical Therapy office in December after being non- weightbearing for 9 weeks. When she started therapy she arrived using a wheelchair and was extremely hesitant to put any weight on her right leg. After a few months of very diligent work and overcoming challenges,, Melinda is now able to walk without limitation! Congratulations Melinda, all of your hard work has paid off!
