Garrett’s ACL Repair Patient Story
Meet Garrett Brodfuehrer! He had a left knee injury that kept him from participating in Sports. He underwent a left ACL repair with a hamstring graft along with a medial and lateral meniscus repair on 4/5/2021. Garrett is an avid lacrosse player, and his goal was to return for his senior year at Ryken high school. Dr. Wymore, a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine, with an emphasis on knee and shoulder arthroscopy, evaluated Garret and performed the complex surgery. Garrett started his long journey back in physical therapy just 4 days later with our amazing team of rehabilitation experts. After many months extensive care, and challenging interventions Garrett “graduated” from physical therapy. He then entered our bridge program built to meet his specific needs and goals. This program offers one on one individualized care to help smooth the transition from PT to the next phase, whether it be the playing field or regular gym routines. Garrett will be more than game ready for his senior year LAX season. Best of luck Garrett.
